Breach alerts & monitoring

Turn on breach alerts for your email so we can run scheduled re-checks against Have I Been Pwned (HIBP) breach data and email you when new breaches are added that include your address.

How it works

  • You add one or more emails to monitor (depending on your plan).
  • We run scheduled checks against HIBP breach data.
  • If new breaches are found that include your email, we send you an email alert with breach names and next steps.

Plans

Monitoring — One email monitored, daily re-checks, email alerts when new breaches are added.

Multi-email — Up to 5 emails monitored, same re-checks and email alerts for each.

Data we store

We keep the minimum needed for alerts: monitored emails, alert preferences, check timestamps, and breach snapshots. We do not store passwords or message content.

Breach alerts FAQ

What data do you use for breach alerts?

We use Have I Been Pwned (HIBP) breach data to see when new breaches include your monitored email(s). We do not use any other breach source.

Are breach alerts sent in real time?

No. We run scheduled re-checks for monitored emails and send email alerts when new breaches are added that include your email.

What do you store to send breach alerts?

We store the minimum needed to provide alerts: monitored emails, alert preferences, check timestamps, and breach snapshots. We never store passwords or read your inbox.

How often do you re-check my monitored email?

Monitoring plans run scheduled daily re-checks against HIBP breach data so you don’t have to run manual checks yourself.

Can I monitor multiple emails for breach alerts?

Yes. Depending on your plan you can monitor one or several email addresses and receive breach alerts for each of them.

How do I stop breach alerts?

Every breach alert email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can turn alerts off per email from your dashboard settings.
